Who we are

Coach Jamie Wineman combines both lineman expertise and a commitment to character development. His experience as a former Division III defensive tackle and championship-winning head coach gives him a solid foundation for coaching both the technical and mental aspects of the game. He acts as both coach and a mentor to young men of all ages.

Coach Jamie focuses on building mental toughness alongside physical skills which is crucial for players in the trenches, where the game is often won or lost. By emphasizing empowerment of the mind and instilling confidence, Coach Wineman is not just preparing athletes for football, but also for life beyond the field.

When not training linemen, Coach Jamie is the New Trier High School varsity defensive line coach. Additionally, he is a successful visual artist and mental health+ addiction recovery specialist. He lives in Winnetka with his wife Gillian and two young children; Wolfgang and Aria.
