Where/When are sessions?
Outdoor Sessions: Skokie Playfields (weather permitting)
Indoor/Winter Sessions: R.P.E.C, Highland Park (turf, strength, plyometric, and position-specific equipment)
Time: Sessions are 1.5 hours (both individual and group). A-La Carte and solo sessions are tailored to work within athlete schedules. Group workout packages will be coordinated with all participants.
What is required?
All sessions require gym shoes and workout clothes. No helmet, shoulder pads or cleats necessary for indoor sessions. For outdoor sessions. Cleats are requested but not mandated. Late Spring and summer sessions will move to helmets and shoulder pads at coach’s discretion.
Who should sign up?
Rising 7th grader all the way to collegiate defensive ends, defensive tackles and edge players looking to improve their skills and mindset for the next level of play to achieve goals in collaboration with their coaches and coach Jamie. We kindly ask that other positional players discuss with their coaches where to train as there are multiple options in the North Shore that are specific to skill/strength and agility. Coach Jamie is happy to recommend other trainers and facilities as well.
What can my athlete expect?
Players can expect a rigorous, high-intensity training regimen designed to enhance cardio, strength, football IQ and philosophy. The program will focus on the fundamental skills and techniques essential for success on the defensive line, including:
Cardiovascular Conditioning: Intense drills to improve stamina and agility, ensuring players maintain peak performance throughout the game.
Strength Training: Functional strength exercises tailored to the needs of the defensive line, enhancing explosiveness, power, and endurance.
Mental Toughness: Breathing techniques and meditative methods designed to empower your athlete both on and off the field.
Position-Specific Drills:
Pass Rush Techniques: Developing speed, power, and hand fighting to break through offensive blockers and disrupt the quarterback.
Run Stopping Fundamentals: Reinforcing key skills to read plays, shed blockers, and shut down the run game.
Defensive Line Fundamentals: Core skills such as hand usage, footwork, leverage, and posture for controlling the line of scrimmage.
Payment info
Payment is made in full via zelle (312) 478-5901 or venmo @Jimmycon at time of booking individual sessions or session blocks.
Missed sessions must be made up within one week (7 days) of booking or payment will be forfeited and cannot be rolled into another week at coach Jamie’s discretion. Payment plans for training blocks can be accommodated.
Cancellation policy
Sorry we do not allow cancellations once payment has been made. Please contact coach for emergency situations. Coach Jamie is flexible within reason on situational cancellations or scheduling conflicts.
